Founded in 1990, Chai Cancer Care is the Community's dedicated cancer support organisation providing 68 specialised services, support, and expert care from 11 centres across the UK. For those clients who are too unwell to come to us, we provide a Home Support Service and clients can also access our care via telephone and Zoom both nationally and internationally.
We are currently supporting just over 4, 200 clients ages 3-98 and have noticed a change in demographic, with one in three of our clients now being under the age of 50.
Chai does not receive any statutory funding and relies on the generosity of the community to meet our annual running costs of £3.7million.
As one of our clients highlights the impact of our support: "At Chai we feel cared for, respected supported and above all else, we feel safe"
