Help Us To RAISE THE ROOF at the Archer Academy!

We’re in the final stretch of fundraising to build a state-of-the-art performing arts studio at our school – set to break ground on 30th June and be completed by the end of 2025. This bespoke space will provide exceptional rehearsal and performance facilities for drama, dance, music, and creative expression.

Across the UK, performing arts programmes are in decline, with funding cuts and a 42% drop in GCSE creative subject entries since 2010. But at the Archer Academy, we are taking a stand. Creativity is at the heart of our curriculum, and the performing arts play a vital role in Archer life. We believe in the power of the arts to build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills. Performing arts don’t just entertain, they transform lives. They foster expression, shape ideas, communicate emotions, and improve wellbeing – a need that has never been greater for young people facing today’s mental health crisis.

As a state school, we believe every child should have access to creative subjects, not just those who can afford private education or extracurricular activities. That’s why we’re investing in a transformative, multi-purpose space that will not only benefit our students, but also serve the wider East Finchley community. The new studio will be available to hire for workshops, meetings, and creative collaborations, helping to generate income for our school.
