Beis Brucha – a Unique and Vital Home for Mothers Post-birth

Beis Brucha needs no introduction. Our Mother and Baby Home, located in the heart of Stamford Hill, is truly a lifeline for mothers and families in our community.

The focus of Beis Brucha, is to provide relaxation and respite for women post birth. With every amenity necessary to help a mother after birth, every new mommy is able to relax and recharge like royalty.

Mothers rest easy knowing that their little one is well taken care of in our state-of-the-art nursery. Our nursery staff look after each precious bundle with the utmost love, care and attention. Babies are bathed daily, freshly clothed and are fed on demand. It is no exaggeration to say that a mother coming to Beis Brucha after hospital rather than going directly home to her hectic schedule can have positive benefits for months or even years ahead. This is pure Hatzolas Nefoshos.

Serving the communities of Stamford Hill, North West London, Canvey, Westcliff, and Manchester, Beis Brucha stands apart. Unlike other Mother and Baby Homes worldwide, we provide services at substantially subsidised rates, making it accessible to all—especially Kolel and low-income families, who make up the majority of our guests.

The cost to run Beis Brucha  is enormous. With  team of over 40 in our Nursery, Housekeeping and Kitchen departments, the contribution from mothers towards their stay, and grants that we receive, still leaves an annual shortfall of just under £300,000. We turn to the community with a request of assistance to allow us to continue serving the new mothers within the Kehilla. The purpose of this campaign is to reach out to friends who can help support this vital work and enable us to continue our avodas hakodesh.
