At Chai Cancer Care, our whole FOCUS is to meet the individual needs of each and every cancer patient and their loved ones who turn to us, currently 4,400 people.

Our unwavering commitment to the community is to continue providing expert, professional support enveloped in compassion and sensitivity.

This powerful combination equips us to meet the needs of all our clients aged 3-99 as well as the emerging demographic of the increasing numbers of younger people needing Chai, with one in three clients now aged under 50.

In this last year alone, we have:

  • provided 70 specialised services from 11 centres across the UK as well as through our Home Support Service and via Zoom and telephone.
  • seen 1,039 new clients (a record number for a single year)
  • delivered over 56,318 hours of expert support and care.

As we see the impact cancer often has on our client’s finances, we do not charge for any services. Our budget is £3.9 million for the next 12 months and, with no statutory funding, we are asking you, our dedicated supporters, to turn your FOCUS to Chai for 36 hours to help us raise £1.8 million.

With you as our partner, together, Chai can continue to provide our FOCUSED care at the most critical time in our clients’ lives.
