Camp Horizons extends its reach across Europe, providing a unique and inclusive experience for disabled children from various countries. Offering separate boys and girls camps during both summer and winter seasons, the camp becomes a cross-cultural haven, fostering connections among over 35 kids in both camps during the winter sessions and an impressive gathering of over 90 campers in both camps during the summer. While the camp operates seasonally rather than year-round, its impact resonates across borders. The commitment to a 1:1 or 2:1 counselor-to-camper ratio, dedicated medical support staff, and fully inclusive activities remains steadfast, ensuring that children from diverse backgrounds can come together for a transformative and supportive experience. By opening its doors to children across Europe and pledging not to turn away any child due to financial constraints, Camp Horizons stands as a testament to the power of inclusivity and the positive impact it can have on the lives of disabled children and their families throughout the continent.
