Providing enhanced Jewish education to the community of South Manchester.

The Hale Adult Hebrew Education Trust (HAHET) has for over fifteen years been providing the Hale community with programmes open to everyone who wishes to enhance their Jewish education. Including Partners in Torah – one to one learning, shiurim, keynote lectures, Beit Hamidrash library, Family Shabbatonim and educational publications.

The most impactful part of the provision has been the appointment of rabbinic couples based in Hale to build relationships, provide inspiration and learning opportunities across the community.

Rabbi Elchanan and Rivka Gabay took up the role of HAHET Directors just before Rosh Hashanah 5784, and together with Hale Shule Rabbi and Rebbetzen, Rabbi Yisroel and Leanne Binstock, they oversee the Torah learning provision of over one hundred regular participants.

Previous HAHET Directors include Rabbi Evan and Tova Levine, Rabbi Aharon and Elisheva Bloch, Rabbi Ephraim and Malki Guttentag, Rabbi Mordechai Goodman, Rabbi John Simons, Rabbi Michoel Treblow and Rabbi Yehoshua Jacobsen.
