PRIVILEGES OF MEMBERS & DONORS

Amongst the other functions of our Kolel is our Chevrah Mishnayos,founded over one hundred years ago in 1870, simultaneously with our Kolel.

Our Chevrah Mishnayos studies and prays for the repose of the departea soul, not only throughout the first year after the demise. But also on anniversary (Yahrzeit). The merit of Kaddish said in the Holy Land is a consideration even when one's own family says Kaddish and commemorates the Yahrzeit.

Anyone may become a member of the Chevrah Mishnayos, thus ensuring all the above rights (Kaddish, Mishnayos, Prayers, and observance of the Yahrzeit) after "a hundred and twenty years".

1. Prayers for one's health and welfare at the Sacred Places.
2. Special prayers upon request, and on any occasion.

1. KADDISH and MISHNAYOTH by a Minyan of Rabbis during the whole of the first year.
2. MEMORIAL CANDELS lit in the Kolel Synagogue.
3. MEMORIAL PRAYERS of every occasion of "Mazkir Neshamos" and on the High Holydays.

1. All the above – mentioned privileges on Yahrzeit day itself, as well as Memorial Prayers on those days mentioned above.
2. Children and friend of the deceased are informed annually of the exact Yahrzeit day by means of special reminders.
