Noone could anticipate the sheer amount of material which lay buried within the pages of the 155 notebooks, miraculously saved from the fires of destruction.

For more than eighty years these manuscripts lay almost forgotten. They are the lifetime work of our late father/grandfather/great-grandfather, Rabbi Dovid Weinstock ztz"l, hy"d spanning almost fifty years and now, finally, they are being brought to light.

A skilled and dedicated team of editors have been working for two years, transcribing, organising and editing the material to be printed and published in the most clear and up to date format, with added footnotes and subheadings to gently guide the reader through the intricacies of this multi-faceted work.The sefer Kol Dovid is a brilliantly woven tapestry of Pardes, layers of Peshat, Drush, Remez and Sod; rich in meaning and inspiration. It also contains many new and original insights in Toras Kabalah.

All who have delved into it have come away impressed by the depth and breadth of this work. From Rabbi Meir Arak ztz"l who wrote the original haskama to Rabbi Yakov Hillel shlit"a, all attest to the uniqueness of the work and masterful erudition of the author, whose greatness and nobility is reflected therein.

We have to date 3 volumes in print: Bereishis 1 & 2 and Shemos 1. A 4th volume - Shemos 2 will be going to print soon.
