Standing in the middle of Kings Road, and right at the heart of Prestwich is the much loved and well renowned Shteible, set-up by the late HaRav Menachem Mendel Schneebalg זצוקללה"ה and at the time was fondly known as R' Mendel's beis hamedrash. 
Starting in the rov's front room (just a few doors down from where it is still based today) until they were able to purchase the current site.
The mantle of leadership was passed onto HaRav Shmuel Goldberg שליט"א who has nurtured the kehilla for almost 40 years,  during this time the membership of the shul expanded greatly resulting in the need of a total  rebuild as the original one was no longer suitable for purpose. 
In 2006 the purpose built building was completed.
Since then the shul has far outgrown it's original popularity and has remained extremely popular despite the many local shuls that have opened up locally.
ב"ה the shul continues to grow under the guidance of our current rov HaRav Yisroel Rose שליט"א and in addition to the countless daily Minyonim the shul host a variety of different shiurim and learning programs including the popular Orasyso chaburas and the kollel ballei batim, a facility enjoyed by members and non-members alike.
