Founded over sixty years ago under the leadership of the late Dayan Chanoch Ehrentreu zt"l, later Rosh Beth Din of London, the ‘Sunderland Kolel’ is a universally recognised important Torah institution. Talented young men with a deep love of Torah and an ambition to spread its light amongst the wider Community devote long hours each day to an intensive program of in-depth studies.
The Kolel has produced a galaxy of outstanding spiritual leaders and educationalists serving Jewish communities in many parts of the world.
