Bet Haknessset Zichron Yitzchak is a unique Shul which caters for the Sephardic Torah Community
within the Manchester Kehilla.

The Shul was established over 50 years ago by Moroccan Chanichei Hayeshivos. Our members now include both second and third generation Chavrei Hakehilla as well as young families who have settled in Manchester. It is a place where people walk in and immediately sense the family-like warmth of an authentic Moroccan Bet Haknesset. Visitors are always welcome, coming almost every Shabbat and no matter from where they originate, they feel at home in our Shul, coming back whenever they are in town.

The Shul aims to combine Tefilah according to our Mesorah, with a strict adherence to Halacha.
Interwoven into the fabric of the Shul, from its inception until today, is a deep appreciation for the
constant need of Limmud Hatorah.

As only a small part of the upkeep and function of the Bet Haknesset is covered by the payment of
membership, we encourage all our members and visitors to donate generously. Every nedava made
to the Bet Haknesset makes a difference, is appreciated greatly and gives you the opportunity to
share in the merit of this endeavour.
