About

The Evening Beis (warmly known across the community as “The Beis”) is the foremost Torah educational institution and social setting for post-yeshiva university students and young professional men in NW London, and, for 30 years, has been one of the community’s most vibrant evening batei medrash, with up to 50-70 students learning every night and 100 across the week.

Based in Hendon (but with programming in Edgware – and also recently at Cambridge University), The Evening Beis talmidim have returned to London from the widest spectrum of yeshivas. We ‎provide a continuation of the excellence and guidance in rigorous Torah learning but also a secure and supportive social environment, helping students stay connected and committed ‎to their Jewish identity and practice with whilst involved with university and working life.‎

In addition top high-quality shiurim and chaburas we offer a range of ongoing social and ruchani programmes (from trips to shabbatons, events for all the major chaggim, learning incentive schemes, an alternative Freshers event, the publication of an annual Torah journal, an annual yeshiva fair for Year 13s, and a ‘Guest Speaker’ programme hosting tens of renowned international speakers from across the yeshiva world).

The Evening Beis is led by our Rosh Beis, Rabbi Daniel Low and supported by an amazing and experienced team of educators including Rabbi Daniel Fine, Rabbi Shmuli Sagal and Dayan Eliezer Zobin – offering superb tuition, guidance, mentoring, and access to shailos/teshuvas.

We rely on the generous support of the community to help us fund this vital institution and to ensure that young men returning from yeshiva to university and working life remain confident and growing bnei Torah.
