Founded in 1939, Hendon Adath is one of the longest-standing and most cherished Shuls in North West London. Over the past eight years, under the guidance of our esteemed Rav, Rabbi Bixenspanner שליט"א, the Shul has grown into a vibrant Kehillah of over 400 members. Many of these members are young families who have joined through the dynamic HAYM initiative, bringing new energy and enthusiasm to our community.

Our diverse membership is deeply committed to growing in Torah, Ahavas Yisroel, and Yiras Shomayim, all within the warm and welcoming environment that Hendon Adath has always provided. The Shul facilitates the largest number of daily minyonim for Shacharis in Hendon, highly popular with both members and non-members alike, serving the community as a whole.

After 70 years of continuous use for davening, learning, and shiurim, under the remarkable leadership of Rabbi Knoblewicz זצ"ל, Rabbi Roberts זצ"ל, and now יבדל"א Rabbi Bixenspanner שליט"א, the Shul was in desperate need of essential refurbishment and upgrades. The Beis Hamedrash, which has served us well over the years, is now too small and outdated to meet the growing needs of our Kehillah. As our evening Kollel expands and more daily minyanim are established, the limitations of our current facilities have become increasingly evident.

Our Vision for the Future includes:

  • A newly refurbished and flexible Mokoim Ha’tefiloh that will provide a more spacious, comfortable, and meaningful environment for davening.
  • A vastly expanded Beis Hamedrash, with 24-hour access, allowing us to host more shiurim and support continuous learning, ensuring that everyone has a place to grow in their Torah learning, even during times of tefiloh.

We are excited to have now embarked on this new chapter, but we need your vital assistance to complete the project and bring this vision to life. Every contribution to our fundraising campaign will help us create a Mikdash Meh’At - a spiritual centre that will not only meet our current needs but also lay the foundation for the future growth of our Kehillah.
