iheart’s 2025 Community Fundraising Campaign enables us to directly address the lack of resilience within our community. At iheart, we believe that every child and family deserve the opportunity to thrive, no matter the challenges they face. In these uncertain times, we are committed to providing essential resilience programmes and wellbeing support to children and families within the UK Jewish community, especially those facing financial hardship.

The impact of stress, trauma, and uncertainty can be overwhelming for children and can impact the whole family, affecting their mental health and overall wellbeing. With your generous support, we can provide much-needed subsidised programmes that foster emotional resilience and mental wellbeing in young people, whilst providing their parents with much-needed to tools to better support their children when they are struggling.

WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

The Silent Struggle of Our Youth

Many of our young people today are struggling with their mental wellbeing. They believe they lack the emotional coping skills to deal with the anxious and lonely feelings they experience, and lack the confidence to overcome the inevitable setbacks and disappointments they will face.

The Social Media Influence Trap

Our children are also at the effect of many different voices via social media and other channels, which often leaves them insecure and non-resilient, and feeling as if they lack what they need to thrive and deal with life.

Parents Facing a Digital Dilemma

In this confusing age of technology, parents are struggling to create resilient families committed to Jewish values and halacha. Parents are increasingly competing with the ‘influence’ and ‘influencers’ on social media, whilst facing an influx of information and advice, leaving them unsure what role they can and should play in influencing their children to become well-balanced, stable young adults.

Parents Under Pressure

Parents are also often struggling with their own wellbeing and resilience, overwhelmed by their own challenges. Sometimes this includes relationship issues, which exacerbates difficult family dynamics.

iheart’s Solution for our Community

For the past eight years, iheart has made a significant impact with our innovative wellbeing and resilience programmes. Over 50,000 young people, parents and teachers in 22 countries have been reached and touched by our work.

Now, we are turning a significant amount of our focus to bringing this impact to children, parents and organisations within our own community.  We understand that many Jewish families in the UK are facing financial challenges, making it difficult for them to access vital services and support. This is why we are working hard to ensure that our resilience programmes and wellbeing services are available at a subsidised rate to those children and families in need. Through the match-funding of generous donors, we have the unique opportunity to raise the necessary funds that will enable us to launch the Resilient Families Project for the UK Jewish community.

The iheart approach to wellbeing and resilience offers a solution to a major challenge facing our community. Please help us to bring this solution to many young Jews and families in need of our support.
