For over 600 girls and young women around the world living with an invisible chronic illness, MyTeam is the only organization supporting them. These girls face so many challenges; and no one knows what they are going through because their conditions are ‘hidden’. 

At school, at work, with family and friends, they juggle normal life while also dealing with complex medical challenges that are often private. For girls suffering from invisible illness, this can become an overwhelming burden that causes added pain, shame, and loneliness. 

MyTeam sees her struggles and the super strength we know she has inside of her. We empower our teammates with acceptance, friendship, support, and more. As soon as a girl with a chronic hidden illness hears about us, she is ready to join MyTeam. In just the last 12 months, we welcomed 119 new teammates!
