To many, the 10th anniversary of a shul like Nefesh Hatorah may mean a decade of learning and davening. However to us here at Nefesh, it also means a decade of giving and a time to look forward and safeguard the future of our kehilla.

Our membership is made up of community minded people. As healthcare workers, kashrus professionals and teachers, we happily dedicate ourselves to the Klal every day

To keep on giving however, we need a spiritual boost to energise us.

Nefesh Hatorah is where we go to receive that essential injection.
It is where we can start and end the day with Torah and tefillah, with daily chaburas and minyanim.
It is where our children can feel part of a shul, with Avos Ubonim and tefillah initiatives.
It is where adults and youth together can daven in an elevated atmosphere, where tefillos are inspiring and respectful.

And of course, it is where we all benefit from the warmth and guidance of our rov, Harav Elchonon Moshe Lieberman shlita.

As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we look back with pride at what we have accomplished. We also look forward with hope to what we are yet to accomplish.

We have great aspirations for growth but rising costs are currently hindering those hopes. Whilst we strive to keep expenditures down, that is not enough to close the deficit. With the struggle to keep Nefesh going ever growing, all hopes of developing our kehillah further remain distant.

Only with the community’s support can we keep our doors open and begin to plan for our future.
And so, as people who spend their days keeping the community going, we now turn to you to keep us going.

With your support, we can ensure the future of our shul and continue to gain the spiritual strength to give back to the Klal.
