Fuel Noam’s miracle

It is a nes that after 20 years Noam have finally moved into our own building, but we have the final completion payment for the building due at the beginning of 2021 and we now turn to you to help us.

Our new building, Shalom Noam Primary School in honour of Max & Zelda Moshal and Jack & Ruby Abelsohn, has allowed us to increase our pupil intake which relieves pressure on other local schools.   However, funding is based on a pupil count the previous October.  This means we are educating extra children, giving them the support they need but are currently receiving no funding to do this.  In normal times, this would not present too many difficulties, but 2020 has been anything but normal.

Noam provides an excellent Kodesh education and is known for providing additional wellbeing and special support to all children.  This is solely funded by donations to the school and by parents’ voluntary contributions.   Whilst our parents do their utmost to make contributions, COVID-19 has had an unprecedented impact on the parent body and consequentially Noam’s finances. 

COVID-19 has also brought us some new challenges.   No sooner had we moved to our new school building than we had to learn how to teach remotely with unbudgeted IT costs.    When school reopened, we had additional unbudgeted health and safety costs.  We now need to cover these costs.

Please help us raise £400,000 in 36 hours. Every donation is doubled.  We need your support to help us fuel Noam’s miracle.
