החזקת התורה - that is the theme of this campaign

Over the last ten years Yeshiva Ohel Torah, with an enrolment of over 40 בחורים   has acquired a name as one of the admired and prominent מוסדות of our local community. With the devotion of our ראש ישיבה Horav Dovid Lewis שליט'א, our מנהל רוחני Horav Heinich Teitelbaum שליט'א, and a dedication team of הנהלה, each bochur is recognised for his tremendous diligence and dedication to his learning, for his יראת שמים and overall growth in עבודת השם.

In this lockdown year, it has been very difficult for the committed and faithful team of אברכים, who take upon themselves the responsibility of ensuring that sufficient funds are raised to cover the burgeoning costs of running a מקום תורה. 

We know that you have been asked frequently to support numerous important Torah and Chessed causes. However, we can never forget that Yeshivas Ohel Torah has only succeeded in reaching this stage of 10 years of לימוד התורה and הרבצת התורה through the incredible generosity of our Torah backers. Now, more than ever, we turn to you with a request to continue with your support.

Through the kindness of our sponsors, every pound donated throughout our campaign will be doubled. If you give £100, Yeshivas Ohel Torah will receive £200.

ישיבת "אהל תורה" נוסדה בשנת תשע"א על ידי קומץ אברכים והורים בעיר הבירה לונדון 

 

בעשר שנות קיומה, קנתה הישיבה שם טוב כאחת ישיבות הפאר של עירנו, בה מתחנכים  ממיטב בחורי החמד, ומתעלים בתורה וביראת שמים ומדות טובות, בהדרכת צוות מסור ונעלה, בראשות ראש הישיבה הרה"ג ר' דוד לואיס שליט"א, והמנהל הרוחני הרה"ג ר' חנוך העניך טייטלבוים שליט"א.

 

הישיבה כיום מונה למעלה מארבעים תלמידים כ"י, שמגיעים מכלל החוגים והתלמודי תורה בעירנו, וכל רואיהם ישבחון ויפארון ויאמרו - אשרי רבם שלמדם אשרי ישיבה זו שגידוליה ניכרים ומבורכים, ועדים לגאון ותפארת!!!

 

וכידוע לכולנו, מאמר חז"ל "יש קמח יש תורה", וכאשר ההוצאות להחזקת הישיבה עולות ומשתרגות למעלה מיכלתנו, והעול הזה נישא בידי קומץ קטן של אברכים, שעוסקים בזה לשם שמים, למען הצלחת בחורים צעירי הצאן בלימודם ובחינוכם ע"י טובי הרמי"ם. 

 

 

אשר ע"כ, בימים אלו בזמן הנשגב והנעלה בימי הכנה לקבלת התורה, פונים אנו עסקני הישיבה לתושבי עירנו ידידנו ומכרינו, נדיבי לב ותומכי תורה, אנא תנו ידכם עמנו בתרומות הגונות, להטות שכם במשא הארון בבחינת בדי הארון שנושא את נושאיו.
