In learning, the emphasis is on clarity and truth. Bochurim are encouraged to deeply
engage with their sugya. This involves developing incisive questions, constructing
well-reasoned ideas, and persistently delving into the depths of the sugya with
passion and care.
Beyond the day-to-day schedule, Yeshiva provides other opportunities for meaningful
connection through Onegs and Shabbatons. These enable the bochurim to have
meaningful conversations within which thoughts, feelings and personal experiences
are explored and discussed, strongly bringing out their characters.
Rabbi Engel’s Shmuzen (“Tuesday Shmuzday”) and Shiurim cover areas of
Hashkafa and Mussar. They cultivate essential life skills which equip bochurim to
navigate everyday challenges, to build strong interpersonal relationships, and to
forge a profound connection with Torah and Yiddishkeit.
Rabbi Gordon - bringing twenty-five years of experience as a Menahel Ruchni at
Yeshivas Ohr Hachaim in Queens - significantly enriches the Yeshiva experience
through afternoon Vaadim and Shiurim, as well as through his personal guidance
and support.
The development of independence is continued via an advanced Chaburah. With the
guidance of Rabbi Weiss - an experienced Rosh Chaburah and Chavrusa of the
Rosh Yeshiva - senior Bochurim and Avreichim independently engage in the
construction and exploration of the sugyas.
