OVER the last few years, the running costs of all the מקוואות here in town have gone up exponentially.

IT is now no longer possible to leave the burden of funding the growing shortfall on the individuals or מוסדות that have done so until now, and leaves the מקוואות with the painful necessity to raise the price.

IN response to this very pressing situation, ועד הטהרה was established earlier this year תשפ"ג.

AT the request and under the guidance and leadership of הרב אליהו פנחס לוי שליט"א, a group of עסקנים, with the backing of רבני העיר have taken the אחריות upon themselves to raise sufficient funds to ensure טהרת המשפחה is accessible to all at a reasonable and partly subsidised price.

IN every town, it is the duty of the בני הקהילה to ensure the continuity of the Mikvaos. Manchester is no different. From today, it is our duty to shoulder the burden of all the Mikvaos which all run at a combined shortfall of approximately £280,000.
